What Is an FSA / HSA?

A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) are employer-sponsored benefit programs that allow you to use pre-tax dollars for eligible healthcare expenses.

Depending on your individual plan, certain services—such as therapeutic massage, acne-focused facials, vitamin therapy, IV hydration, weight management services and other medically necessary treatments—may qualify for reimbursement. In some cases, a prescription or letter of medical necessity from your Primary Care Provider (PCP) may be required.

Eligibility and coverage vary by plan. Clients are responsible for confirming eligible services with their plan administrator or HR department prior to booking.

Appointment & Booking

Appointments are required for all services.

Booking & Prepaid appointments

• All appointments must be booked online.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Our POS system accepts major credit/debit cards, including many FSA/HSA cards.
• Some FSA/HSA cards may be declined due to provider restrictions such as merchant category codes or service eligibility.

Gratuity Policy (Not FSA/HSA Eligible)

• Gratuity is not covered by FSA/HSA. A minimum 20% gratuity is required and paid separately.
• A minimum 20% gratuity is required for all services.
• Please note “FSA” or “HSA” in your booking notes.

Itemized Receipt (Superbill)

• Clients may request an itemized receipt (superbill).
• Receipts include the necessary details for submission to your benefits provider for potential reimbursement.

Important Notes

• Not all services qualify for FSA/HSA reimbursement, including certain wellness, vitamin therapy, and IV hydration services. Eligibility must be verified prior to booking.
• Sacred Paradise Spa (SPS) does not bill insurance, FSA, or HSA providers directly and is not responsible for denied claims.
• All standard reservation policies apply, prepaid appointments at booking, 24-hour cancellation notice, no refunds, and a required minimum 20% gratuity paid separately when using FSA/HSA funds.
